Cream of Potato Soup
6 C. cubed potatoes
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 C. sliced carrots
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 slices fried bacon
1 C. chopped onion
1 C. sliced celery
2 C. milk
2 C. light cream (or use all milk)

Farm animals are one of our more popular attractions, especially among the younger children who love to stop and watch their entertaining antics.
Chickens are especially fun to watch. It seems there’s always some kind of bustle at the hen house and nobody can figure out what it might be. It’s generally much ado about nothing, but that makes it all the more entertaining.
